I think something is wrong with this new office, or the software distribution was faulty. I was thinking maybe I did something wrong, but as I fiddled with Table of Contents and Table of Images, both of them showed up the accurate page numbers, so I became suspicious.

I use WORD2007 and I wanted to add page numbers to my pages, but when I did so, nothing happened. Ok, so if anyone is experiencing the same issue as I did here is a half but working solution.
